I can't tell you how many times I've talked with people who feel that because they have a Facebook page or a Twitter account that they should automatically be converting connection into sales. And believe me when I tell you, I've been there too! I mean it is free marketing and you have followers and fans, so when you post an incredible offer, it should convert, right?
Well, not really…
Now this may come to a surprise to you, but social media is NOT about the sale. And the truth is, for most people, it will not convert fans and followers to a sale. So then what is it?
